Solid State Depot – Hackspace Open House @ Solid State Depot7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Solid State Depot is THE Boulder hackerspace. Founded in 2010 at a local coffee shop, we have graduated to our own space with our own tools and have developed quite the community. Have no clue what a hackerspace is? Simple, it’s a place for hackers, tinkerers, artists, musicians, engineers, scientists, crafters, gamers, players and doers to get to together, work on projects, share ideas and create something great.
Come visit us at Solid State Depot every Tuesday night, 7:30PM, where we offer an open house-style meetup. Here we open ourselves up to the public to show off our space, our projects and ourselves. Whether you’re a veteran hacker or are completely new to hackerspaces, we invite you to come and see what we’re all about. Our members’ interests range from software, hardware, electronics, woodworking, machining, welding, art, sewing, crafting, sustainability, interactivity, philosophy to many other areas. If you have an idea you want to get off the ground, if you don’t have the space or tools to work on a project, if you’re looking for like-minded folks, if you need help brainstorming, if you just want a place to hang out and chat, we’re here for you. Other meetups include workshops, classes and other events, so stay tuned.
If you would like to become a full-time, paying member, please visit our website for more information: http://boulderhackerspace.com/dues/ Membership gets you 24/7 access to the space, access to all of our tools and supplies (with proper training), discounts on classes/workshops and supplies, and access to all the wonderful members of our community.
Check Solid State Depot for event details.

We are software developers and designers who are interested in exploring all aspects of this exciting new programming platform, both on the web, and with mobile devices.
Check out the HTML5 Denver Users Group Meetup page for monthly topics and to RSVP.
NOTE: >This meetup is generally the fourth Monday of the month but they sometimes mix it up, so check the HTML5 Denver Users Group Meetup page for the exact dates.

1 Million Cups @ Galvanize9:00 am – 10:00 am
1 Million Cups (1MC) is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world. Each week, the 1MC program offers two local entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs.
Presenters prepare a 6 minute educational presentation and engage in 20 minutes of feedback and questioning after they present. Entrepreneurs gain insight into possible ways they can improve their businesses, gather realtime feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business.
The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities. The program takes place every Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00am in locations all around the country.
The Denver Chapter meets at Galvanize weekly. See more at: http://denver.sites.1millioncups.com/ or follow @1MillionCupsDEN

This is not a typical meetup.
The LabWorx format is a scheduled day and time every week where you can go to explore something new. Instead of speakers/presenters you are encouraged to learn and explore with others or solo, using the resources of the web or your peers.
Bring your laptop and use this time to explore something new. Work on pet projects, entrepreneurial ventures or just use the time to learn the new thing you haven’t had the time for.
